Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit the guiaos website (guiaos.com) or write to us through its form, what we use it for and what rights you have.

2. What data we process

  • If you fill in the form: your name and the name of your business, your email or phone number, whatever you tell us under “What are you looking for?”, and the page, language and country you send it from.
  • When you browse: technical data generated by any visit (IP address, browser, page requested, date and time) in the server logs.
  • To count visits: the page viewed, where you came from, your country and your type of device and browser, without cookies and without storing your IP.
  • The language and country you choose in the selector are stored only in your browser: they never reach us.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We will not send you advertising, we do not share your data with third parties for their own purposes and we do not make automated decisions about you.

  • Replying to you and, if you wish, helping you get started with guiaos. Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Keeping the website secure and preventing abuse, for example by limiting repeated form submissions from the same IP. Legal basis: our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Understanding how many people visit the website and how many write to us, as aggregate figures that do not identify anyone. Legal basis: our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. How long we keep it

  • Form data: for as long as we are in contact with you. If we do not end up working together, for a maximum of 12 months from your last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
  • Server logs: 30 days.

5. Who else processes your data

Service providers that process data on our behalf, solely to provide their services to us:

  • Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL: hosting of the website and data, on servers in Frankfurt (European Union), and sending the internal email notification when someone fills in the form.
  • Cloudflare, Inc.: content delivery and protection of the website.
  • Plausible Insights OÜ (Estonia, European Union): visit statistics without cookies; it does not store your IP address or build a profile of you.

Cloudflare is a US company: transfers to it are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Other than this, we would only disclose data where required by law.

6. Cookies

The website does not set any first-party cookies or use advertising tools, and its typeface is served from our own server. Visits are counted by Plausible, without cookies and through our own domain. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary technical cookies to protect the website against attacks. The language and country you choose are kept in your browser's local storage, and you can delete them from its settings.

7. Your rights

You can access your data, have it rectified, ask us to erase it, object to its processing or ask us to restrict it, and receive it in a portable format (data portability). Write to [email protected] saying which right you want to exercise; we will reply within one month at the latest.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es) or with the supervisory authority in your country (in Portugal, the CNPD: www.cnpd.pt).

8. Minors

The website is intended for professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 14.

9. Changes

If we change how we use data, we will update this policy and its date. If the change affects you, we will let you know.
